Senior Citizens form a vital constituent of the CCI member base, with over 750 in number. This club serves as a forum for their entertainment and enrichment. The members meet over snacks on the last Wednesday of every month and the 90-minute session includes a talk on a subject related to their concerns and interests.

In addition, the club hosts three luncheons-with-beer sessions with housie every year. The highlight of the calendar is the bumper dinner organized in the month of December. This includes an evening with music and dance with a friendly contest thrown in to maintain the spirit of challenge in the fine veterans.

The membership fee is a nominal Rs. 15/- per month which includes all charges applicable towards the monthly meets. Nominal additional charges are applicable for the luncheons and bumper dinner.

The Senior Citizens Club organizes two group tours every year for its members, a fortnight-long foreign tour in the summer months and a week-long tour to a popular destination within India. In 2008, about 40 members enjoyed a cruise on the Caribbean liner, “Jewel of the Seas”, the destinations being Scandinavian nations and Russia. The domestic destination for the winter is Mahabaleshwar.

The success story of the Senior Citizens Club is gradually being adopted by other clubs in the city.
